ART SHOW DATES: May 16, 2009 - Alumni Day – November 15, 2009
LOCATION: Atwood Library, Hill Pavilion, School of Veterinary Medicine
RECEPTION: Saturday, May 16, 2009 11 am to 1 pm
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: May 1st
GUIDELINES:
- Hanging art only (drawings, paintings, print, collage, photos (including photos of sculpture/ceramic)
- Limit one submission per artist
- Artwork must be matted and/or framed (in such a way that the art will not be damaged by the hanging process)
- Limit of 50 pieces total (half for alumni and half for children of alumni)
SUBMISSION PROCESS:
- Via mail: Office of Alumni Relations, School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, 3800 Spruce St., Philadelphia, PA 19104
- Via drop-off: April 30th and May 1st: Lobby, 3800 Spruce Street 10 – 12 pm each day
ARTWORK RETURN:
- We strongly encourage artists to donate their work for sale to benefit SCAVMA (December 2009).
- PICKUP: Tuesday Nov. 25th to Friday Nov. 28th (from 4-6 pm each day)
- Via MAIL: If a $25.00 shipping fee is submitted with the artwork. The Penn Vet Art Show Team cannot be held responsible for any damage of artworks either on display or in return shipping. Please take this into consideration when framing and/or selecting the pieces you would like to submit.

The artwork will be photographed and included on the school’s website 125.vet.upenn.edu beginning June 1, 2009.

2) CLASS YEAR – for Alumni
3) AGE – for children – AND ALUMNI PARENT NAME AND CLASS
4) MEDIA used
5) ADDRESS
6) DIMENSIONS of piece *in frames* (pieces must be framed in such a way that they will not be damaged by the hanging process)
DISCLAIMER: The Atwood Library is a public space. While it is locked and secured overnight, the gallery will not have 24 hour supervision, and therefore the Penn Vet Art Show Team cannot be held responsible for any theft or damage of artworks on display.
