 Each year Penn Vet participates in Pennsylvania’s largest agricultural event – the Pennsylvania Farm Show. This year our exhibit celebrated the School’s 125th Anniversary with panels highlighting: our students, urban and rural campuses, equine medicine and surgery, farrier technology, and small animal medicine advancements throughout the years.
Penn Vet’s 125th Anniversary and contribution to Pennsylvania’s Agricultural Industry was recognized with a plaque from Governor Edward G. Rendell.
Governor Rendell presented the plaque to Dean Joan Hendricks at the Public Officials Luncheon on January 15th, with more than 800 people in attendance including state legislators, county and township officials, farmers and representatives of Pennsylvania’s major ag-related industries.
